Headaches

There are 150 different types of headaches. Headaches can be caused by stress, hormones, food sensitivities and many other factors you may not even be aware of. Tension headaches and cluster headaches are amongst the most common.

Migraines

Migraines are very strong headaches, often accompanied by throbbing in the head. Migraines can last for a few hours to a few days and can be exacerbated by smells and noises. People who experience migraines might also have nausea, vomiting or blurred vision.

Headaches Related to Hormones

Another cause of headaches, are hormone imbalances. Fluctuating hormone levels can cause a spike in headaches and migraines throughout the menstrual cycle. Most commonly, a drop in estrogen can trigger a headache.
